On March 26th from 11 AM - 12 PM, NCSLA hosted Richard Rutherford, LTSS Consulting, for a one-hour review and Q&A on the upcoming Medicaid Personal Care Services (PCS) Per Diem Reimbursement Payment Structure that begins April 1, 2025. Beginning April 1, 2025, NC Medicaid PCS in adult and family care homes will be reimbursed on a per diem (per day) payment structure, rather than the current 15-minute increment, and will the new service will be called Congregate Care Setting services.

On January 29, 2025, NCSLA hosted a webinar presented by NC Medicaid with WRenia Bratts-Brown, Associate Director, Home and Community Based Services and Juanita Jefferson, Personal Care Services Unit Manager regarding the upcoming Medicaid per diem (per day) payment system for Medicaid Personal Care Services (PCS). Effective April 1, 2025, Medicaid PCS in adult and family care homes will be called Congregate Care Setting services and will be reimbursed on a per diem payment structure.

NAVIGATING MEDICAID MANAGED CARE - TAILORED PLANS WEBINAR - Part Two - June 26, 2024

On June 26, 2024, NCSLA hosted a second webinar presented by SembraCare that addressed the implementation of Medicaid Managed Care - Tailored Plans, which will become effective July 1, 2024. Tailored Plans include services for people with serious mental health issues, substance use issues, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and traumatic brain injury.
